A submission to this week’s photo challenge taken at the water’s
edge at Whisby Nature Reserve in the UK this summer. The sharp plants standing out against the blurred water.

Whisby, not my closest nature reserve, that would be Swan Holme Lakes a SSSI, both nature wonderlands. The latter within the boundaries of Lincoln City, whilst Whisby some 3+ kilometres away, nice to get a mention on WordPress. Both worth a visit if your in the area. The images, great, and super entries for the ‘Edge’ challenge!

We visited both Swanholme and Whisby in the summer whilst staying with my mum in North Hykeham- we’re only two minutes from Swanholme / Hartsholme

I guess you’ll will have checked out Millennium Park too? (Station Rd) Right on your doorstep, and another great place for wildlife photography.
